Hot-Hed has recently completed a Modular Habitat project on an Energy Partners Ltd. offshore platform.

The project consisted of shifting the weight of two wells and decks from an existing caisson to a new 48 “ diameter caisson. The new caisson was planned to support the existing two wells, the new decks and two new wells that were to be drilled.

Below are a few photos of the process, utilizing Hot-Hed’s Habitat™ Welding Isolation Chamber.

The Hot-Hed Habitat Welding Isolation Chamber protected a producing well while work was done around it. No Habitat moves were required.
