Hot-Hed's Lock-Well Nuts™ (Anti-Tamper Fastener System) are an innovative, secure wellhead locking system. Designed as an anti-theft fastener device to prevent unauthorized access to wellheads or flanges, they replace conventional studs and nuts with hardened, tapered fasteners that are impossible to remove using conventional methods.

The Lock-Well™ studs have a hardened coating at the point where they are exposed, thus preventing anyone from cutting through the stud between the mating faces of the flanges. The hardened nut also prevents anything cutting into it.

Although Lock-Well Nuts™ are easy to install using the Hot-Hed Tensioner and high pressure pump, removal is impossible without the Hot-Hed Tensioner. Standard wrenches just slip off the tapered walls of the Lock-Well Nuts™.
